Randy and Marti Walls - 1st Place
Randy and Marti Walls caught a limit weighing 9.61 pounds to win the Best Catch Couples event on the St. Joseph River at Constantine.
Despite a good turnout, only five teams brought fish to the scales. Several teams reported catching bass but most were sub-legal fish.
The winners used soft plastics fished on the edge of aquatic vegetation and lily pads.
John and Marci Dixon - 2nd Place
John and Marci Dixon were second with four fish weighing 7.15 pounds. Their catch included big bass of the event, a 3.12 pounder.
Mike and Carley Grandstaff - 3rd Place
The father/daughter team of Mike and Carley Grandstaff were third with three bass weighing 6.21 pounds.
