Casting Couples Report
The wind blew hard out of the north for the Casting Couples 5th Annual Open on Lake St.Clair which made for a bumpy ride for those who competed.
However, it didn’t keep the fish from biting. Jake Lisenko and Rick Kedik won with 19.56 pounds. They took home $300 by drifting with tube jigs. They caught a limit early and then upgraded in the last two hours of the tournament.
Scott and LeeAnn Sizemore had five keeper bass totaling 19.20 pounds for second ($120). The Sizemore's used swimbaits in Anchor Bay to catch their limit.
Loren and Carrie Crosbie had five keepers for 19.13 pounds. They used 3/16-ounce tube jigs in 8 feet of water.
Big bass of the day was a 4.46-pound smallmouth caught by Ryan Yoder and Andrew Miller earning them $70. It was caught on a hair jig in 10 feet of water.
