Travail’s Report
Palestine Lake showed up in a big way during a rainy day last weekend in the Travail’s Tournament circuit.
Todd and Matt Hagerman - 1st Place
The father-and-son team of Todd and Matt Hagerman won with a whopping 24 pounds, 9 ounces that they caught on frogs and by flipping lily pads.
John Gipson and Kris Iodice - 2nd Place
It took 20 pounds, 1 ounce for second by John Gipson and Kris Iodice (no last names provided) while Howard and Frantz (no last names provided) were third with 19-5.
If that wasn’t impressive enough, the big bass pot went to Conner and Chad (no last names provided) for a giant 7 pound, 3 ounce bass.
Several bass were caught by flipping the pads, while most of the others were caught on chatterbaits , frogs , and drop-shot baits.
