Justin and Hunter Kosmerick - 1st Place

Justin and Hunter Kosmerick won the Southwestern Michigan College Bass Team fundraiser tournament Sunday at Diamond Lake.

The Kosmericks had 9.19 pounds caught on drop-shot rigs fished in 12 to 20 feet of water.

Fishing was tough for most every team competing, but the event raised more than $900 to help finance the college’s bass fishing team.

Conner Picken and Ellianna Fonseca - 2nd Place

Second place went to Conner Picken and Ellianna Fonseca with 6.89 pounds caught shallow on a wacky worm and also in 15 to 20 feet on drop-shot rigs.

Scott Kulp and Chuck Powell - 3rd Place

Scott Kulp and Chuck Powell were third and had big bass, a 4.93 pounder. Their two fish weighed 6.41 pounds to earn them third place. They used wacky Senkos and twin-tail grubs in shallow water and along the breakline.
