Arjay’s Report

Last Wednesday was a tough night for the Arjay’s Series at Diamond Lake.

The tournament drew 25 boats but it took less than 9 pounds to win.

Floyd Wolkins and Steve Martin - 1st PlaceFloyd Wolkins and Steve Martin - 1st Place

Floyd Wolkins and Steve Martin won it with a limit weighing 8.78 pounds. They fished Ned rigs and topwaters around shallow weed lines.

Chris Yoder and Ruben Hoshstetler - 2nd PlaceChris Yoder and Ruben Hoshstetler - 2nd Place

Second place went to Chris Yoder and Ruben Hoshstetler with four bass weighing 7.44 pounds caught on jigs along the breaklines. They also had the Tackle Shack LLC big bass at 2.84 pounds.

Nate Ryan Yoder and Andrew Miller - 3rd PlaceNate Ryan Yoder and Andrew Miller - 3rd Place

Nate Ryan Yoder and Andrew Miller skipped docks for third with a 7.32-pound limit.

Aaron and Cody Zimmerman used drop shots to catch 5 fish for 6.84 pounds.

Hunter and Justin Kosmerick - 5th PlaceHunter and Justin Kosmerick - 5th Place

Hunter and Justin Kosmerick were fifth a 6.08-pound limit caught on jigs in 10 to 15 feet.

Timothy Eicher and Daniel Schwartz took home the Clear H2o first out of money prize with four bass that weighed 6.56 pounds.

The Michiana Outdoors News tackle pack was won by Tim and Daisy Tucker with four that weighed 5.08 pounds.

The junk fish pot went to Steven Wickey and Jeremiah Yoder with a 5.22-pound pike.

The next tournament is Wednesday night at Cedar.
