Troy Allard and Nate Yoder fished a variety of baits to catch 14.54 pounds at Sylvan Lake and win the Tackle Shack tournament July 26.
The winners said it was a grind and they caught most of their fish on drop-shot rigs but also caught a few on Chatterbaits and crankbaits.
Second went to Randy Gallmeyer and Chase Laughlin with 14.23 pounds caught on Chatterbaits, wobble heads and crankbaits in 5 to 15 feet.
Maynard Hochstetler and Steven Wickey were third with 13.95 pounds. They said they punched weed beds and lily pads in 2 to 8 feet.
The biggest catch of the day was by Mason Alvarado who boated a 6.07- pound largemouth on a Chatterbait over weed clumps in about 7 feet of water.
