Scott Solomon won the co-angler championship at the Michigan Bass Nation Tournament on Lake St. Clair last weekend.

It was the best showing ever for the Four Flags team. Four club members qualified for the 2026 state team.

Solomon won the co-angler division with a two-day limit (six fish) weighing 25.36 pounds. He won $1,772 and had the co-angler big bass of the tournament with a 6.04-pound smallmouth for an additional $500. Scott caught his fish on tubes.

He qualified for a guaranteed spot at the 2026 Nation championship at a location to be named later. As a reward for winning the co-angler championship he was presented the championship traveling trophy which will be his till next year's champion is crowned.

Jeff Bostic finished 14th on the boater side with a two-day, 10-fish limit weighing 36.92 pounds winning $982. He caught his fish on an assortment of drop-shot baits. Jeff qualified for the 2026 Bass Nation Qualifier to be named later.

Dan Posey finished 10th on the non-boater side with five fish weighing 17.01 pounds, winning $506. He caught his fish on an assortment of drop-shot baits and Senkos. He also qualified for the 2026 Bass Nation Qualifier.

Kevin Stewart finished 11th on the non-boater side with a six-fish limit weighing 16.92 pounds, winning $506. He caught his fish on jigs. Kevin also qualified for the 2026 Bass Nation Qualifier.

Other Michiana anglers competing in the tournament were Josiah Grandy, finishing 27th with 32.40 pounds; Rob Swem finishing 36th with 29.48 pounds; and Roy Marchant finishing 45th with 25.72 pounds.
