Michiana Singles Report
Webster Lake sure didn’t disappoint when the Michiana Singles were there last weekend.
There were six bass weighing 4 pounds or more and seven limits caught among the 17 competitors.

Seth Wingard dominated with nearly a 4-pound average and a limit weighing 19.90 pounds. He took home $300. Wingard used Rat-L-Traps along edges of weeds on points.

Kyle Kaser was second with a limit totaling 13.95 pounds. Kaser used swim jigs in the shallow backwaters to pocket $170.

Third place ($110) went to Dusty Clifton with five weighing 11.85. Clifton used Jackhammers in the backwaters as well.

Zach Burdette not only finished fourth ($60), but he had the big bass of the day. His 11.45-pound limit was anchored by a 4.55-pound largemouth worth an extra $80. Burdette also used Jackhammers in supper shallow water.
The next tournament is Thursday, Apr. 16th on the St. Joseph River at Maggies Landing. Hours are 5:30 p.m.-8:30 p.m. It’s a $60 entry. Any questions, contact Rick (269)240-4917.
