Michiana Singles Report
Fourteen Michiana Singles anglers found good fishing on the St. Joseph River at Maggies Landing last Thursday despite muddy water and strong current.
There were six limits caught and six bass over 3 pounds weighed in.
Bryce MacMillan, who almost didn’t fish due to motor issues, walked off with first place with a limit weighing 8.10 pounds. He fished Chatterbaits to win $270.
Lee Duracz weighed a limit totaling 7.90 pounds and had the second biggest bass. He also fished Chatterbaits to win $150 for second.
Third place went to Seth Wingard who had four bass, one of which was 4 pounds that also won him the big bass pot. He used swim jigs to pocket $165.
Joel Laskowski finished four with a 7.20-pound limit caught from channels on jigs.
