Casting Couples Report
Six limits were weighed by 13 teams competing in the Casting Couples Open at Webster Lake last Saturday, but the winner wasn’t one of them.
Bryce and Andrew (no last names provided) had three fish for 8.55 pounds, earning them $350 and a bonus of $65 for having the biggest bass, a 5.85-pound largemouth. They used jigs.
Jamie and Bob (no last names provided) had a limit of five bass totaling 8.50 pounds. They used jigs to take home $230.
Third place went to Dan and Dan (no last names provided) with an 8.25-pound limit, good for $130.
The next regular season Casting Couples tournament is June 6th at Corey Lake.
