Clear H2o Report

Brad and Clay Sterling won the inaugural Clear H2o Thursday nighter last week on the St. Joesph River at 6 Span bridge on an evening when getting bites was tough.
The Sterlings had big bass - 3 pounds, 1.4 ounces – and a total weight of 8-8. They said they used wacky worms and Ned rigs.

Second place went to Terry Burgess and Chris Brunt with 8 pounds, 7 ounces. They caught their fish by flipping jigs into shallow wood on the flats.
Chad Worvey and Chris Maynard were third with 7-12, caught by swimming jigs.
The drawing for the G. Loomis rod – which will be given away at each tournament – was won by Laureano Santos.
Tournament Director Steven Syzmczak said the Classic fun is now $3,340. The next event will be on the St. Joseph River at Maggies Thursday night. For more information, call Clear H2o Tackle at (269) 414-4131.
