Arjay’s Report

Martin Hochstetler and Jonas Troyer kicked off the Arjay’s Wednesday nighters with a win on a tough night at Barton Lake.
There were only four limits weighed and Hochstetler and Troyer didn’t have one. But they did have a 4.38-pound bass to anchor their four fish weighing 8.08 pounds and win the Tackle Shack big bass pot. They caught their fish shallow while fishing jigs.

Charlie Fouts and Ray Lohr were second with a limit weighing 7.96 pounds, caught on spinnerbaits.

Third went to John Miller and Ashley Gibson who had a 7.46-pound limit. They also had the BAFA Fishing second big bass with a 2.22-pound largemouth. They fished docks.

Scott Carpenter and Carrigan Carpenter fished crankbaits and Chatterbaits to finish fourth with 7.02 pounds.
The first out of the money tackle pack went to Maynard Hochstetler and Marvin Bontrager with 7.02 pounds.
The Michiana Outdoors News tackle pack for 6th place with 6.70 pounds was won by Manny Schwartz and Dennis Hostetler.
Noah Chambers and Jacob Meeker were seventh with 5.46 and won a prize donated by the lake association.
Gas card winners were Maynard Hochstetler and Braxton Bellew while the Jaywalker Restaurant junk fish pot was won by Miller and Gibson with a 6-pound pike.
