Clear H2o Report
Ben Harrison fished alone to win the Clear H2o Tackle tourney at Klinger Lake Thursday night.
Only 12 teams participated, primarily due to parking issues. In fact, the next Clear H2o weeknight tourney scheduled for Klinger on July 16 will be moved because of parking. The location will be announced later.
Harrison had a limit weighing 9 pounds, 5 ounces and had the biggest bass, a 2-6 largemouth. He caught his fish by using tubes around post-spawn bass feeding on bluegills.
Pat Kleppert and Dion Deans were second with 7 pounds, 9 ounces. They caught their fish by fishing 3-inch CrushCity Mayor swimbaits on 1/8th-ounce jigheads around weed edges in 4-6 feet of water.
Brad Sterling won the drawing for the G. Loomis Rod.
Thursday night’s event will be at Diamond Lake. The Classic Fund has now grown to $4,425.
