Michiana Singles Report
Evan De La Rosa had five bass totaling 10.9 pounds to take home the $300 first place prize money in the Michiana Singles Thursday night derby at Magician Lake.
De La Rosa used dropshots and jigs in 8 - 10 feet.
Second went to Chris Shires had had five totaling 10.3 pounds ($170) and the biggest bass ($80) with a 3.4-pound largemouth. Shires used jigs in 6 - 10 feet and won $250.
Seth Wingard finished third ($110) with five weighing 9.13 pounds, He fished drop-shot rigs in 6 to 10 feet.
Bryce Amberg was fourth with 9.2 pounds by fishing drop-shot rigs in 8-12 feet. He earned $60.
The Next Open tourney is Father's Day, June 21st Paw Paw Lake. Entry fee is $80 and hours are 6-noon. Contact Rick 269-240-4917.
