Bill Mathews and Kris Iodice continued their dominance at Diamond Lake, catching 13.65 pounds to win Saturday’s Southwest Michigan Anglers Club (SMAC) derby.
The winners said they fished shallow with the new BAFA Fishing Flashbang jig.

Dan Baerwald and Kyle Leamer were second with 12.71 pounds caught on jigs in 5 feet of water.

Third place went to Andrew Hankins and Bryce Amburg with a 12.22-pound limit caught on drop-shot rigs in 20 feet of water.

The father/son team of Brad and Clay Sterling used the weight of the biggest bass in the tournament to carry them to fourth with 11.41 pounds. The big fish weighed 4.26 pounds. Their pattern was not provided.
There were 13 limits caught among the 20 teams. There were 134.6 pounds and 7 smallmouth weighed in.
The next SMAC event is tonight at Juno Lake.
