Rick and Jennifer Kedik had a mix bag of largemouth and smallmouth bass to win the Casting Couples tourney on Mona Lake over the weekend.

The Kediks had 11.93 pounds and had big bass honors with a 3.73-pound largemouth. They fished docks using Butcher Baits special color Stick bait to earn $280 for first and another $65 for big bass. They said the fish were not under the docks but in front and next to them.

Second went to Scott and Patty Smith with an 11.67-pound limit, earning $140. The Smiths primarily used drop shots and tubes next to docks, especially floating docks.

Third-place John Gipson fished with his young daughter, June, to catch five weighing 11.39 pounds. Gipsons fished Mona and Muskegon lakes with Senkos and jigs to earn $100.

Brian and Sandy Souza - 4th Place

Fourth went to Brian and Sandy Souza with 11.09 pounds. Souza also keyed in on docks.

Ryan and Alyssa Yoder - 2nd Biggest Bass
Ryan and Alyssa Yoder - 2nd Biggest Bass

Ryan and Alyssa Yoder had the second largest bass with a 3.12 smallmouth, earning tackle packs from Butchers Baits. They also earned tackle packs from NWI Tournament Baits (NorthWest Indiana tournament baits) for the smallest bag of the day, 8.93 pounds.
