Casting Couples Report
Mike Hobday (Elkhart) and Cassandra Eddy (Niles) - 1st Place
The father/daughter team of Mike Hobday (Elkhart) and Cassandra Eddy (Niles) had five keeper bass totaling 12.27 pounds to win the Casting Couples tournament on Long Lake last weekend.
Hobday and Eddy used crankbaits in 8-12 feet of water to win $230. They also took home big bass honors with a 3.06-pound largemouth for an extra $60.
Ryan and Alssya Yoder (Mishawaka) - 2nd Place
Ryan and Alssya Yoder (Mishawaka) had five bass totaling 10.7 pounds to finish second ($120) and had the second biggest bass, 3.04 pounds, to win the Native Pride Tackle Pack. The Yoders fished docks all day to catch their limit of bass.
George and Kayleigh Fowler (Elkhart) - 3rd Place
George and Kayleigh Fowler (Elkhart) brought in five bass weighing 8.74 pounds to finish third ($70) by fishing wacky-rigged Yum Dingers.

Billy Mathews and Kris Iodice - 1st Place
Billy Mathews and Kris Iodice won the Southwest Michigan Anglers Club at Klinger Lake Sunday.
The winners had 10.47 pounds caught on jigs.
Renee and Brian Hensley - 2nd Place
Korey Boss and Kevin Mac - 3rd Place
Second place went to Renee and Brian Hensley with 10.14 pounds caught on Senkos while Korey Boss and Kevin Mack caught 10.06 pounds with drop-shot rigs.
Thomas Bauer and Chris Gambee won the Michiana Fishing League Tournament Saturday on Fish, Finch and Saddlebag lakes.

The winners had 12.38 pounds that included a 4.26 pound largemouth to take big bass honors. They caught their fish on a prototype Pig Pluckers Swim Jig.
Second went to Randy Walls and Mark Flotow with 12.07 pounds, including a 4.06 pounder, while Kevin Grubbs and son were third with 11.36 pounds.
There were 17 teams in the event and all reported catching a lot of bass.
The next event is on Donnell Lake July 25 at 6 a.m.

The winners used 9K jigs and C Flash 44 crankbaits to catch a limit weighing 13.03 pounds.
Bill Mathews and Matt Davis were second with a limit weighing 10.26 pounds caught on jigs and frogs.
Jeff Stankovich and Paul Groves - 3rd Place
Jeff Stankovich and Paul Groves had four fish for 10.24 pounds while Grant Hoover and Drake Heath caught a limit weighing 7.93 pounds on tubes.
Scott Crocker - Big Bass
Scott Crocker won the big bass pot with a 5.42 pounder caught on a C Flash crankbait.

Hunter Zona and Ben Harrison won ArjayÃs Wednesday nighter on the St. Joseph River at Constantine.
The winners had five bass weighing 10.78 pounds.
Second place went to Todd Mason and Edie Wilkinson with five weighing 10.10 pounds while Ryan Miller and Chris Bundy had four bass weighing 8.84 pounds.
Jeremy Bunnell and Chuck Powell were fourth with a limit weighing 8.62 pounds and Ryan Hershberger and Dale Raber had four weighing 5.14 pounds.
The Clear H20 first-out-of-the-money went to Sawyer and Travis Brown with two weighing 4.84 pounds and the Jaywalkers second out of the money went to Jon and John Walkinhood with 3 fish weighing 4.66 pounds.
The MICHIANAOUTDOORSNEWS.COM 3rd out of the money went to Jose Munoz and Wyatt Haskins with 3 fish weighing 4.34 pounds.
The Tackle Shack Big Bass went to Doug and Eric Sanderson with a 4.14 pounder while the Pigeon Inn Junk Fish went to Hunter Zona & Ben Harrison with a pike weighing in at 4.66 pounds.
