Randy Ramsey (Battle Creek) and Trevor Jancasz (White Pigeon) overcame tough fishing conditions last weekend on Lake Wawasee to win the R&B Circuit Open.

The veteran duo pocketed $685 with a 15.15-pound limit, only one of four limits weighed in by the 57 competing teams. The winners landed 9 keepers caught in 12-25 feet of water on a trio of baits: Erie Darters matched up with leadheads, 3/8-ounce Denny Brauer Strike King jigs, and 3-inch Strike King swimbaits.

Tracy Coates (Syracuse) and Michael Hamilton (North Webster) were second ($430) with a 15.03-pound limit of largemouth. They fooled their fish with the combination of Silver Buddy blade baits and Rapala perch-colored jerkbaits.

Brian Whitaker (Warsaw) and Brandon Elliott (Warsaw) caught 7 keepers on their way to 9.91 pounds for third place ($320). They caught an early limit by twitching jerkbaits around weeds on a 9-10 foot flat but werenít able to upgrade with a kicker.

Chip Harrison (Columbia City) and Joe Settler caught a 4.62-pound largemouth to win the big bass pot ($455).
