Jake and Stephanie Lisenko (South Bend) caught 15 pounds to win the Casting Couples Classic on White Lake last week.

The Classic teams battled chilly temperatures and 15- to 25-mph winds on the Whitehall, Mich. lake.

The Lisenkos fished weedy point edges with º-ounce Native Pride jigs (bluegill) in 8 to 14 feet of water. They won $650 plus the bonus Big Bass Award ($50 and a $50 Clear H2o gift card) for a 4.43-pound largemouth. They caught three keepers and the big bass in the first 30 minutes before landing their last two keepers later in the day.

The Hensleys caught their fish on jigs (black/blue) tipped with Chigger Craws in 8 to 12 feet of water. They also used swim jigs tipped with Strike King Rage Craws (green pumpkin/pearl).
