It wasn’t easy finding vegetation at Lake Templene for competitors in Arjay’s Wednesday Night League, but those who did caught more fish.
Ray Lohr and Charlie Fouts found some good ones that produced 13.76 pounds that earned them the top prize. They said they fished jigs and wacky worms.
Second went to Seth and Scott Spaulding with 12.72 pounds and they also had the biggest bass, a 4.48 largemouth. They fished Chatterbaits.
Chris Yoder and Ed Bontrager were third with 10.76 pounds caught on jigs and Chatterbaits.
John Miller and Ashley Gibson had 10.76 pounds for fourth by fishing Chatterbaits and wacky rigs.
Spinnerbaits were the tickets for Steven Wickey and Irvin Yoder who grabbed fifth place with 10.04 pounds.
The Clear H20 first out of the money was won by Doug and Marilyn Sanderson with 8.92 pounds while the Michiana Outdoors News Tackle Pack was won by Lester Hochstetler and Olen Borkholder with 8.82 pounds.
A crappie won the jumk fish spot for the Spauldings while the Str8-Up Mounts lucky dog pot went to Hochstetler and Borkholder.
Carrigan Carpenter won two $50 gas cards in side pots.
The group will be at Diamond Lake Wednesday evening.
