Clear H2o Report

Jordan Smith and Joel Laskowski captured the Clear H2o Thursday nighter on the St. Joseph River at Maggies Landing.
There were 19 teams in the event, and it helped boost the Classic fund to $3,715.
Smith and Laskowski had 8 pounds, 6 ounces. They caught their fish on jigs and tubes.

James Siguenza and Dominick Tirotta were second with 8 pounds, 2 ounces. They said they caught their fish on “skirted Lures.”
Third place went to Paul and Stephan Grove who fished jigs in wood to catch 7 pounds, 9 ounces.
Trevor Paulus and Jason Cook finished fourth with 7 pounds, 7 ounces. They fished wacky worms and Chatterbaits.
Zach Laplace had the biggest bass of the event, a 3-pound, 10-ounce largemouth.
Mike Smoker won the drawing for the G. Loomis rod.
The next event is May 28 at Juno Lake and competitors are reminded to park at Clear H20. A shuttle will be provided.
