The winners’ 11.37-pound limit won them $712. All of their fish came from small points with submerged rock piles. Two fish fell for a Reaction Innovations Skinny Dipper rigged with a D's Lures swimbait jig and three were fooled by an Xtreme Bass Tackle (Muskegon Goby) rigged on a ¼-ounce D's tube jig.

Greg Mangus (Fremont) and Kevin Fletcher (Elkhart) brought a limit of smallmouth weighing 9.99 pounds to finish second ($452) by fishing black/blue Mango jigs. They also caught the second heaviest fish of the event ($90), a 3.47-pound smallmouth. Their performance solidified their hold on the standings and earned them the 2013 Points Championship, worth another $400.

Trevor Paulus (Osceola) and Brad Sterling (Bremen) ran upriver and landed 20 keeper bass by tossing a combination of jigs, tubes, and split shot worms in eddies and other current breaks. Their third place fish weighed 9.84 pounds and won them $332.

The Money Mouth Baits Big Bass ($360) was a 4.44-pound smallmouth caught by Tom Montague (Elkhart) and Aaron Likens (Kendallville) while Justin Hahaj (Bridgman) and John Gipson, Jr. (Lafayette) won the The C Flash Big Bass with a 3-pound smallie.
