David Brown and Cheyne Stouder of Nappanee won the first annual John C. Bradley Memorial Bass Tournament on Lake Maxinkuckee with 14.61 pounds.
The winners earned $594 for their winning catch taken by working schooling fish with swimbaits.
Rick Paton and Hunter Paton (Plymouth) were second ($330) with 13.59 pounds while Chris Collins (Plymouth) and Jason Alexander (Warsaw) tied for third ($200 each) with Greg Kiser and Jim Jenkins(Winamac) with 10.61 pounds. Rick Manges and Jeremy Hutchinson (Plymouth) took big bass honors ($230) with a 4.41-pound fish.
Hosted by Marco Bass Masters, organizersraised over $1,500 in sponsorships/donations. Checks for $500 were given to the Boys& Girls Club of Marshall County and the Marshall County Council on Aging.
There were 23 boats and the tournament paid back all entry fees to top finishers.
