Ken Tucker (Athens, Mich.) and Brian Hensley (Edwardsburg, Mich.) caught 10.88 pounds to win $1,025 in the Angler's Choice tournament on Lake Tippecanoe recently.

They caught all of their fish in less than 10 feet of water on tubes and said it was a slow bite but the ones they caught were good ones, including a 3.17-pounder that was their biggest bass.

Art Kerns (Wheatfield, Ind.) and Cliff Kerns (Buffalo, Ind.) had 10.35 pounds for second ($585). They also won the big bass pot ($190) with a 4.20-pound fish; all fish were caught on tubes and worms around docks.

Phil Duracz (Chesterton) and Clint Marler (Valparaiso) said they caught their third place ($310) limit early and culled the smaller ones to sack 10.04 pounds.†Their fish came on Stanley jigs and drop shots on the inside edges of weeds.

There were 62 fish weighed in for a total weight of 107.76 pounds or an average of 1.74 pounds each.
