Arjay’s Report
Floyd Wolkins and Steve Martin - 1st Place
Catching the big fish in a derby at Klinger Lake can be a difference maker in winning on a lake where limit catches tend to run small and often weigh similarly.
That was the case last Wednesday when Floyd Wolkins and Steve Martin’s 2.70-pound largemouth was key in their win during Arjay’s weeknight tournament held on the popular lake. The tournament drew 25 boats and produced 15 limits.
The winners won with 10.68 pounds, edging out Ben Harrison and Trevor Jancasz who finished second with 9.60 pounds.
Harrison and Jancasz - 2nd Place
While Wolkins and Martin fished topwaters and wacky worms to take the win, Harrison and Jancasz drop-shotted plastics in deep water for second place.
