Ron Fabiszak (South Bend) won his third consecutive R&B Circuit tournament recently and this time he fished alone and beat 53 teams on Lake Wawasee.
Fabiszak weighed in 14.32 pounds and won $786. He caught his fish by tossing a C Flash 44 crankbaits in the bluegill color scheme along the outside weed edge on Lake Wawasee.
Ron Crawford (Pierceton, Ind.) and Bo Judd (Columbia City, Ind.) landed an 11.81-pound limit by junk fishing. They caught keepers on jigs, spinnerbaits, tubes, and Senkos. All of their fish came from 5 foot of water or less. They won $506.
Gary Harrold (Rochester, In.) and son Matt Harrold (Culver) caught five bass weighing 10.17 pounds to win the Hoosier Pro Tournament at Manitou Lake recently.
The winners also had big bass, a 3.3-pound largemouth.
Brad and son Shawn Zellers (Winamac, In.) were second with 9.90 pounds while Tim Rasala (Hobart, In.) and Steve Coleman (Whiting, In.) were third with 9.76 pounds.
The winners caught their fish on frog imitators while the rest of the top finishers fished an array of soft plastics and jigs.

The Michiana Walleye Association held it's "Between the Buns Challenge" at Lake Maxinkuckee in Culver, Ind. June 1 under difficult fishing conditions with strong winds and weather fronts moving through the area all day.
Mike Rhoades (South Bend) and Randy Gaines (Westville Ohio) won $300 with 8.91 pounds caught on the windswept side of the lake by casting Rapala Glass Shad Raps. The team also earned the ClearH2O Tackle Big Fish award for an additional $210 with a 3 pounder.
Dwight Jones (Mishawaka) and Don Shelton, (Berrien Center Mich.) also worked the windy side of the lake and finished second by vertically jigging ¼-ounce chartreuse jigs tipped with a crawler in 18 feet of water. They had 6.40 pounds that earned them $150.

The winners ($1,025) caught their fish on stickbaits fished over flats along the inside edges of weeds in 4 to 8 feet of water.
Don and Dylan Whitaker were second ($588) with 10.71 pounds caught on crankbaits fished along inside weed edges. They also won the big bass prize with a 4.44 largemouth.
Scott Crocker and Chad Worvey caught 12.08 pounds on jigs and wacky rigs in 8 to 10 feet of water on Magician Lake to win the Michigan Sportsman Fishing Trail last weekend.
Second place went to Scott and Matt Davis with 11.69 pounds caught on tubes in 12 feet while Mickey Thomas and Mike Fletcher were third with 11.61 pounds caught on tubes and jigs in 6 to 8 feet. Bob Johnson Sr. and Jr. captured big bass honors with a 3.17- pound smallmouth caught on a jig.
