Winners Ken Tucker and Brian HensleyBrian Hensley (Edwardsburg) and Ken Tucker (Athens, Mich.) won the Anglers Choice tournament on Lake Wawasee last weekend with five bass weighing 14.03 pounds.

The winners ($1,025) caught their fish on stickbaits fished over flats along the inside edges of weeds in 4 to 8 feet of water.
Don and Dylan Whitaker were second ($588) with 10.71 pounds caught on crankbaits fished along inside weed edges. They also won the big bass prize with a 4.44 largemouth.
Scott Crocker and Chad Worvey caught 12.08 pounds on jigs and wacky rigs in 8 to 10 feet of water on Magician Lake to win the Michigan Sportsman Fishing Trail last weekend.
Second place went to Scott and Matt Davis with 11.69 pounds caught on tubes in 12 feet while Mickey Thomas and Mike Fletcher were third with 11.61 pounds caught on tubes and jigs in 6 to 8 feet. Bob Johnson Sr. and Jr. captured big bass honors with a 3.17- pound smallmouth caught on a jig.
The Southwest Michigan Anglers Club (SMAC) held a pair of tournaments last weekend.
In a Wednesday nighter on Lake of the Woods near Decatur, Mich., Pat Malicki and Craig Parmlee won ($155) with 6.66 pounds caught on drop-shot and wacky rigs in 8 to 10 feet of water.
Second place ($80) went to Steve and Marco Lewis with 5.99 pounds caught on Texas-rigged worms in 10 feet while Bob Johnson Sr. and Jr. were third with 5.77 pounds caught on jigs. Big Bass prize ($70) went to Charlie and Corey Bloss for a 2.71-pound largemouth caught on a jig.
Sunday on Paw Paw Lake, Danny Linn and Darren Schrap won $180 for 14.45 pounds caught on Senkos and Beavers fished in 4 to 6 feet of water. ($100) Ron Nelson fished alone and was second ($100) with 13.81 pounds caught on jigs along the break while Terry Smith and Dennis Losee were third with 13.64 pounds caught on Senko's and tubes fished shallow. The big bass prize went to Pat Malicki and Craig Parmlee with a 4.09 Largemouth caught on a jig.
Winners Ron Fabiszak and Ron NelsonRon Fabiszak (South Bend) and Ron Nelson (Berrien Springs) bested the R&B Circuit field on Lake Tippecanoe last weekend by targeting bedding fish on the main lake.
The winners had 15.36 pounds by fishing beds lying between 4 and 7 feet deep. They tossed an array of plastics at them and spent over an hour on the second biggest fish of the tournament, a 5.35-pound largemouth, before getting her to bite. The win earned them $730 while the big fish won them an additional $92.
Mike Lytle of the Allen County Bassmasters won the Zone 3-4 Top 8 tournament on Lake Wawasee last weekend.
Lytle caught 20.09 pounds over the two days while Travis Edgar of the Ye Ole Tackle Box Team was second with 18.70 pounds and Thomas Friddle of the Northern Bass Anglers was third with 17.78 pounds. Edgar also won the Ranger Cup.
