Steve Kline and Kenny Watson - 1st Place
Steve Kline and Kenny Watson fished Ned rigs around weed patches to win the Tackle Shack Polar Bear Bob Evans Thanksgiving Classic on Klinger Lake last weekend.
The winners had 11.15 pounds to pocket $350.
Jeremy Bunnell and Lee Duracz - 2nd Place
However, the big money winners were Jeremy Bunnell and Lee Duracz who finished second ($210) with 9.14 pounds, won the big bass pot ($95) with a 3.3-pound smallmouth, the critter pot ($95) with a 5.57-pound pike and the Trifecta pot ($410). They also won Tackle Shack Str8-Up Mount gift cards.
They fished blade baits and Ned rigs on sandy weed patches in 10 feet or less.
Ron Fabizak and Jason Fowler were third ($105) with 7.42 pounds.
The Otto brothers won the drawing for the Lew’s Zona Signature Rod from Tackle Shack.

Bob Evans and John Grimm - 1st Place
Bob Evans and John Grimm fished submerged wood with Ned rigs to catch 11.32 pounds and win the Tackle Shack Polar Bear Open on the St. Joseph River at 6 Span Bridge.
They pocketed $390. The tournament drew 24 boats.
Starboard Choice Report
Josh Weidner and Bob Hyatt - 1st Place
Josh Weidner and Bob Hyatt caught 10.45 pounds and had big bass to win the Starboard Choice Marine Fall Open on Lake Maxinkuckee last weekend.
Weidner and Hyatt, who won $200 for first, took big bass ($60) with a 3.25-pound smallmouth. The winners reported catching their fish shallow once the sun came out.
Polar Bear Report
Andy Buss and Kerry Frey - 1st Place
A giant bass helped carry Andy Buss and Kerry Frey to victory in the Tackle Shack Polar Bear Tournament on Duke’s Bridge last weekend.
It was truly a Polar-Bear-Kind-of-Day. Fifteen teams fished in snow, rain and 30 mph winds.

The father-and-son team of Brian and Don Whitacre won the Tackle Shack Polar Bear Open last weekend on Lake Maxinkuckee.
They used Yamamoto Hula Grubs to catch 10.91 pounds and win $400.
Twenty-five teams participated and nine limits were weighed in.
Ron Fabiszak and Ken Plencner used swimbaits to catch 10.62 pounds for second ($250) while Weidner and Hyatt (no first names provided) were third ($150) with 9.74 pounds, also caught on swimbaits.
Rajun Cajun and Eben Lambert - 4th Place
Rajun Cajun and Eben Lambert were fourth ($75) with 9.52 pounds caught on jerkbaits and blades.
Leann and Scott Sizemore won the big bass pot ($130) with a 3.03-pound smallmouth and Dan Powell and CJ (no last name provided) won the critter pot ($130) with a 3.13-pound walleye.
The next event is Saturday at Duke’s Bridge from 7:30-2:30.
