Although breeding habitat conditions have declined from previous years, the 2012 Trends in Duck Breeding Populations report estimates waterfowl production in North Americas duck factory is at a record high. This years report estimate of 48.6 million is significantly higher than the 45.6 million birds estimated last year and 43 percent above the long-term average.

In addition to showing their valuables made by the likes of the former Heddon, South Bend, Paw Paw, Creek Chub and Shakespeare tackle companies, the collectors are seeking any historical information people have from the pre-1970s era, including that about obscure smaller tackle manufacturers as well.
