Teddy Bradley (Mishawaka) and Mark Fennell (LaGrange) won the R&B Bass Circuit event on Austin Lake near Portage, Mich. last weekend.
The winners had a 15.56-pound limit which included the Starboard Choice Marine Big Bass - a 5.32-pound smallmouth. The team tossed green pumpkin/gold D's tube paired up with a ½-ounce D's tube jigs into open lanes of the weeds. They won $605 for the win and an additional $216 for the big fish.
Greg Anderson and Jeff Dever (Converse, Ind.) took their first Indiana Farm Bureau Tournament Series win recently at the First Response Bass Clean Up on the St. Joseph River at 6 Span.
Despite the recent slot limit imposed by the Indiana DNR, they were able to weigh-in a five-fish limit weighing 9.43 pounds. Their 4.55-pound bass was the largest of the tournament and gave them the Travel Tender Bait and Tackle Big Bass Award.
Don Seabolt (Edwardsburg) and Dave McCollum (Elkhart), were second with 7.28 pounds while John Leader and John Fuchs (South Bend) were third with 6.81 pounds.
Rick Morison and Jason Morison (Niles) had five bass weighing 10.55 pounds to win the Southwest Michigan Anglers Club tournament on Fish, Finch and Saddle Bag lakes recently. They used Poor Boys Darters.
Second place went to Chuck Powell (Granger) and Jeremy Bunnell (Mishawaka) with 9.61 pounds caught on jigs while Chad and Jennifer Worvey (Niles) were third with 7.11 pounds while fishing Senkos. Charlie and Corey Bloss (Cassopolis) won big fish honors with a 4.34-pound largemouth caught on a jig.

Jonathon VanDamGREEN BAY, Wis. Four days on Lake Michigan produced four different tournament leaders at the Bassmaster Elite Series Green Bay Challenge. But it was the leader at the end of todays final competition round who takes home the trophy, $100,000 in first-place prize money and an automatic berth in the 2013 Bassmaster Classic. That distinction belongs to Jonathon VanDam of Kalamazoo, Mich., who bested 97 of the best bass anglers in the world with a four-day catch of smallmouth bass weighing 79 pounds, 2 ounces.
Aaron Krider (Fort Wayne) and Bob Bruick (Fort Wayne) beat out 36 teams, which brought 23 limits to the scales, with a limit of fish weighing 10.75 pounds to win the R&B Bass Circuit tournament on Lake Manitou June 23.
