Maynard Hostetler and Marvin Bontrager - 1st Place
Maynard Hostetler and Marvin Bontrager fished weedlines with wacky rigs to win last week’s Wednesday night tourney on the Randall Chain.
The winners had 9.12 pounds.
Aaron and Cody Zimmerman - 2nd Place
Second place went to Aaron and Cody Zimmerman with five bass for 8.14 pounds. They fished spinnerbaits in shallow weeds.
Hunter and Justin Kosmerick - 3rd Place
Hunter and Justin Kosmerick grabbed third place with a limit weighing 6.98 pounds. They fished jigs on breaklines.
Steven Wickey and Jeremiah Yoder - 4th Place
Steven Wickey and Jeremiah Yoder had four bass weighing 6.70 pounds for fourth place. They fished docks and seawalls.
The ClearH2O Tackle first out of the money spot went to Scott and Chase Carpenter who had three bass for 6.40 pounds.
Steve Martin - Big Bass
The Tackle Shack LLC big bass prize was won by Steve Martin fishing solo. He caught a 5.04-pound largemouth by fishing a jig on grass flats.

Butchers Baits Report
Jeremy Siler and Brock Howell - 1st Place
Jeremy Siler and Brock Howell won the Butchers Baits tourney on Coldwater Lake Sunday.
Siler and Howell had 12.11 pounds caught by fishing jigs and crankbaits.
Bill Mathews and Kris Iodice - 2nd Place
Bill Mathews and Kris Iodice were second with 11.09 pounds. They also said they used jigs and crankbaits.
Chris Yoder and Edward Bontrager - 3rd Place
Chris Yoder and Edward Bontrager had the biggest bass, a 4.02 pounder, and finished third with 11.01pounds. They used stick baits and drop shots.

Casting Couples Report
Jake and Cheyenne Lisenko - 1st Place
The father/daughter team of Jake and Cheyenne Lisenko not only won the Casting Couples tourney at Fish, Finch and Saddlebag Lakes (Marcellus), but they also took home the top prize for having the biggest bass on Saturday.
The Lisenkos had a limit weighing 14.10 pounds and the big bass weighed 3.90. They used drop-shot rigs in 25 feet to win $360.
John and Ashley Miller - 2nd Place
Another father/daughter team, John and Ashley Miller, had a limit totaling 13.66 pounds for second place.. They also had the second biggest bass of 3.76 pounds which earned them the Butchers Baits tackle pack. They also fished drop-shots in 20 feet to take home $150 and tackle from Butchers Baits.
Seth and Nicole Spaulding - 3rd Place
Seth and Nicole Spaulding had 12.33 pounds for third. The Spaulding's fished every dock in the lake to catch their fish and take home $90.
Loren and Carrie Crosbie - 4th Place
Loren and Carrie Crosbie finished fourth with 10.66 pounds. They s used jigs in 10 feet.

South Shore Open Report
Phil Duracz and Clint Marler - 1st Place
Michiana’s Phil Duracz and Clint Marler won the South Shore Bass Open last weekend and went home with $7,000.
Duracz and Marler had 28.30 pounds in the popular two-day event held on Lake Michigan and attached waters in Indiana and Michigan.
The Chesterton, Ind. anglers are some of the top sticks in northern Indiana. In previous years, Duracz has broken Indian records for whitefish and burbot, both caught from Lake Michigan.
Second place ($2,500) went to Ross Tornabene and Ryan Whitacre with 28.12 while Zach Suchanek and Cole Schroede were third ($1,500) with 27.17.
The winners fished poppers, homemade jigs and drop-shot rigs to catch their fish in 10 to 20 feet of water. Most of their fish came from Lake Calumet.
“We were given sample packs of Jake’s Lure Joint Ned and finesse worms and they worked great on our drop shot rigs,” said Duracz.
R&B Report
John Gipson and Jim Weaver - 1st Place
John Gipson and Jim Weaver won the R&B Super Tournament Sunday at Pipestone Lake.
The duo had 13.47 pounds that they caught on jigs along the break.
A distant second was Brian Souza and Ed Morrison who had 2.80 pounds, also caught on a jig along the break.
The next tournament is September 1 from 7:30-3:30 at Lake Palestine. The entry fee is $130. No membership required. Since Gull Lake was cancelled due to unexpected circumstances, teams who fish at least 3 tournaments throughout the season will qualify for the Classic on September 29th in Benton Harbor.
