Chris Yoder and Edward Bontrager - 1st Place
Chris Yoder and Edward Bontrager fished jigs to win the Arjay’s Wednesday nighter on Portage Lake last week.
Yoder and Bontrager caught a limit weighing 13.18 pounds to beat out 24 other teams.
Martin Hochstetler and Jonas Troyer - 2nd Place
Martin Hochstetler and Jonas Troyer were second with a limit weighing 9.64 pounds caught on wacky rigs and spinnerbaits.
John Miller and Robbie Gibson - 3rd Place
John Miller and Robbie Gibson fished deep weedlines with tubes and wacky rigs to catch 8.24 pounds and finish third.
Aaron and Cody Zimmerman - 4th Place
There was a tie for fourth which was broken by way of big bass tie breaker, Therefore, Aaron and Cody Zimmerman took those honors with five bass weighing 8.10. They also fished wacky rigs.
Hunter and Justin Kosmeric - 5th Place
Hunter and Justin Kosmerick took the fifth place with the same weight but they caught their fish on jigs.
The ClearH2O Tackle first out of the money spot went to Steven Wickey with three fish that weighed 7.60 pounds.
Noah Chambers and Jacob Meeker - 7th Place & Big Bass
Noah Chambers and Jacob Meeker got the Michiana Outdoors News tackle pack for seventh with 7.40 pounds , but they also won the Tackle Shack LLC big bass prize with a 4.16-pound largemouth caught on jig.

Michiana Singles Report
Caleb VandeReyden - 1st Place
Eighteen teams struggled to catch a limit in the Michiana Singles Event on Baldwin Lake last weekend.
Caleb VandeReyden was one of four anglers to get a limit weighing 12.78 pounds to secure the win. It helped that he also won the big bass pot with a 4.28-pound largemouth. Caleb fished in one spot the entire day to earn $330. The big bass was caught on Underspin to bump up his winnings $85.
Drew Stull - 2nd Place
Drew Stull was second with only three keepers totaling 8.43 pounds but he also had the second biggest bass of the day at 3.78 pounds. Drew used topwaters to earn $170.
Rick Kedik - 3rd Place (Tie)
Bob Johnson - 3rd Place (Tie)
There was a tie for third and fourth place between Rick Kedik and Bob Johnson who each had a limit weighing 8.20 pounds. They split $180. Kedik used Ned rigs and Johnson used a drop shot.
All fish were shuttled from the channel to the main lake by VanderReyden.

Ken Ramsey and Gary Stahler - 1st Place
Ken Ramsey and Gary Stahler won the Southwest Michigan Anglers Club weekend tournament at Magician Lake Saturday.
The winners had 11.83 pounds and also had the biggest bass in the tournament with a 4.03 pounder. They used need rigs in 7 feet of water.
Terry Smith and Scott Crocker - 2nd Place
Terry Smith and Scott Crocker were second with a limit weighing 11.12 pounds. They used topwaters and jerkbaits in 5 to 9 feet.
Seth and Scott Spaulding - 3rd Place
Seth and Scott Spaulding had 10.94 pounds. They used forward facing sonar to catch bass in 25-35 feet on drop-shot rigs.
Chad Worvey and Chris Maynard were fourth with 10.78 while Chuck Powell and Louie Stout had 10.30.
There were 20 limits caught and seven were smallmouth. The 100 fish caught weighed 187.10 pounds.
Arjay’s Report
Arjay’s weeknight season opener produced some very tough fishing last Wednesday at Prairie River Lake.
Only 10 of the 20 teams competing brought fish to the scales and not one team had more than one fish. All the fish caught were taken on either Senkos or Ned rigs.
Steven Wickey - 1st Place and Big Bass
Steven Wickey finished first and won the Tackle Shack LLC Big Bass with a 4.58-pound largemouth.
Noah Chambers and Jacob Metker - 2nd Place
Noah Chambers and Jacob Metker were second a 2.18 pounder.
Scott and Carrigan Carpenter - 3rd Place
Scott and Carrigan Carpenter finished third with a 1.90 pounder.
Chris Yoder and Edward Bontrager - 4th Place
Chris Yoder and Edward Bontrager were fourth with 1.78 pounds.
Heath Musall and George N Jody Musall were fifth with 1.60 pounds.
The ClearH2O Tackle first out of the money spot went to John Miller and Robbie Gibson with 1.44 pounds.
The Michiana Outdoors News tackle pack for seventh went to Aaron and Cody Zimmerman with 1.38 pounds.
The Jaywalker Restaurant junk fish pot was won by Ray Lohr and Charlie Fouts with a pike weighing 9.02 pounds.

Four Flags Report
Josiah and Kevin Grandy won the Four Flags season opener on Eagle Lake Saturday.
The Grandys had 10.43 pounds caught on topwater lures and Ned rigs in 3- to 6- feet of water.
Chad Lovell and Scott Solomon were second with 9.92 pounds caught on Smak'm soft plastics in 6 feet or less.
Kevin and Lane Stewart finished third with 9.41 pounds caught on green pumpkin soft plastics and perch colored crankbaits. They also had big bass with a 2.79-pound smallmouth.
