Ron Nelson of Berrien Springs, Mich., who started the day in third place, brought a five-bass limit to the scale Saturday weighing 18 pounds, 9 ounces to jump to the top of the leaderboard and win the Costa FLW Series Northern Division event on Lake Champlain presented by Power-Pole.
Nelson's three-day total of 15 bass weighing 54 pounds, 9 ounces, was enough to earn him the win by a 10-ounce margin and the first place prize package worth $93,200, including a new Ranger Z521C with a 200-horsepower Evinrude outboard.
Nelson weighed a mixed bag of three largemouth and two smallmouth on each of the three days of competition and was the only competitor to surpass the 18-pound mark on Saturday.
Brian and Renee Hensley caught 10.53 pounds on Diamond Lake to win the Southwest Michigan Anglers Club event last weekend.
The winners had 10.53 pounds caught on Senkos and crankbaits.
Second place went to Staulp and Staulp with 10.33 and John Fuchs and Rick Morrison were third with 9.69.

Brian and Renee Hensley (Edwardsburg) had five keepers totaling 10.55 pounds to win the Casting Couples tourney and beat out 16 other teams on Diamond Lake last weekend.
The Hensleys pocketed $280 plus $85 for catching the big bass, a 2.73-pound largemouth. They used Senkos and a KVD Splash Jr. to catch their fish.

The winners ($710) had 10.35 pounds that included the second biggest bass ($70) of the tourney, a 3.04 pounder. Most of their fish came around wood. They flipped a Strike King Rage Craw with ¾-ounce weight, caught one on a wacky-rigged X-Worm and one on a shaky head worm.Â
Teddy Bradley (Mishawaka) and Mark Fennell (Lagrange) were second ($446) with 8.68 pounds by working buzz and hollow belly frogs through thick weeds in channels.Â
Trevor Paulus (Edwardsburg) and Dave Selig ($267) weighed an 8.02- pound limit by flipping wood with a creature bait.Â

Bo Thomas and Jackson Disher caught five bass weighing 10.43 pounds to win the Southwest Michigan Anglers Club (SMAC) on Magician Lake recently.
The winners used tube jigs and topwaters. They also won big bass with a 3.08-pound fish.
Adam Crocker and Dan Linn were second with a limit weighing 9.60 pounds. They used crankbaits and swim jigs.
Chris Leach and Jason Horvath were third with five fish weighing 7.88 pounds.
SMAC will host another event on Father's Day at Diamond Lake. Entry fee is $50 per team and every team gets a gift from Eagle Claw/TroKar.
