Justin Hahaj and John Gipson - 1st Place
John Gipson and Justin Hahaj sacked 17.73 pounds at Pipestone Lake to win the Starboard Choice Big Bass Challenge last week.
The winners, who said they were junk fishing, took home $250. They caught three on jigs along the break, one on topwater, and one in the pads.
Evan Timmons and Danny Mohan - 2nd Place
Mike Passarelli and Debbie Kenn - 3rd Place
Evan Timmons and Danny Mohan were second ($150) with 13.27 by finesse fishing along weed lines and Mike Passarelli and Debbie Kenn third ($80) with 13.17 by fishing jigs on the breakline and in the pads.
Kyle Leamer and Dan Baerwald - Big Bass
Kyle Leamer and Dan Baerwald won the big bass pot ($70) with a 4.94 beast. They caught it with finesse tactics on the break.
Another $70 was added to the classic pot bringing the total to more than $1,000. The next tournament is Sept. 5 at Nyona Lake.

John Gipson and Justin Hahaj drop-shotted their way to another win in the Starboard Choice Big Bass Challenge, winning at Magician Lake last week.
The strong duo had 14.14 pounds and took home the big bass pot ($100) with a 3.75 largemouth in addition to their $510 winnings.

Steve and Amy Martin- 1st Place
Steve and Amy Martin caught five keeper bass totaling 8.48 pounds to win the CastingCouples tournament on Fishers Lake last week.
The couple, who caught their fish on Ned rigs and Jigs in about 12 feet of water, took home $180.Â

A big bass helped lift Ken Holder and John Gibson to the Michiana Fishing League victory at Lake of the Woods (Decatur, Mich.) last weekend.
The winners’ 3.79-pound largemouth was the kicker in their 13.09-pound limit.

Loren Crosbie caught 11.35 pounds on jigs and swimbaits to win the Southwest Michigan Anglers Club (SMAC) at Fish Lake (Marcellus, Mich.) last weekend.
John and Robert Davis were second with 9.92 pounds caught on jigs around docks. They also had big bass of the tournament, a 3.88 pounder.
Brain and Renée Hensley were third with 9.20 pounds caught on swim jigs while Jason Dittmar and Dave Eggers were fourth with 8.77 pounds caught on topwaters and jigs.
