Blocker Outdoors Report

Blocker Tree Spider Speed Pro Harness
Blocker Tree Spider Speed Pro Harness

Thankfully, modern treestand technology and the availability of safety harnesses have made hunting from treestands safer than ever. While harness options have improved, there has been room for advancement – especially in the comfort category, and that’s just what the tech-savvy product engineers at Blocker Outdoors did with the updated Tree Spider Micro LT Harness and Speed Pro Harness.

“We revamped these harnesses to reduce shoulder fatigue and have an overall lighter feel on the body. We achieved that by upgrading the materials,” explained Blocker Outdoors Marketing Director, Steve Allie.

“We reconfigured with lighter weight options – swapping steel components for aluminum for example, as well as incorporating a honeycomb ripstop nylon face fabric that is super light and durable. We also reduced the overall dimensions of the straps without compromising any of their integrity.”

How much lighter? The Micro LT Harness was already one of the lightest harnesses available, and with an upgrade to even lighter materials, Blocker shaved off 20% of its weight. The Speed Pro Harness received the same improvements with an overall weight reduction of 30%. Strength and integrity remain uncompromised, while reducing weight considerably and attaining remarkable comfort.

The Tree Spider Micro LT is the go-to for hunters who want a minimalist safety solution without sacrificing security, while the Tree Spider Speed Pro is for hunters who demand maximum safety without extra weight – both harnesses feature TMA-certified fall arrest protection and sleeker, advanced technical fabrics for all-day comfort.
