Berkley Report
The latest iteration of the Berkley Freshwater Magic Swimmer is designed specifically for freshwater fishing applications.
The Freshwater Magic Swimmer delivers the same revolutionary design and action as the saltwater version but is now offered in freshwater colors and sizes.
The Magic Swimmer, known for its unique and natural swimming action, was originally created for saltwater fishing applications. After extensive use in the salt, freshwater anglers specifically fishing in bodies of water where herring is prevalent began to notice just how well the Magic Swimmer resembled several freshwater bait forages. Anglers in the herring region quickly realized how effective the bait was on bodies of water such as Lake Hartwell, Lake Lanier, and Lake Murray and began to see similar success on bodies of water across the country with varying forage bases. Gone are the days of repainting a saltwater Magic Swimmer for freshwater use; the freshwater Magic Swimmer is now available in eight optimized freshwater color options.
The Magic Swimmer is designed with a tapered nose and humpbacked head that slices through the water with an ultra-realistic fast paced fleeing prey action. A forward weighted design allows for a stable action at various retrieve speeds without blowing out. The Magic Swimmer is the perfect bait for schooling fish in the spring, summer or fall; or fish feeding on forage spawns in late spring. Available in three sizes, including a new 110 fast sink model, anglers now have the ability to fish a smaller profile while maintaining weight to keep the bait from blowing out when retrieved at high speeds.
Colors include Blue Vapor, Chrome, Morning Dawn Chrome, Bone, Ghost White, Olive Bone, Perfect Ghost and Purpsicle.
Sizes include: 95 SK (Sinking) • 110 FSK (Fast Sinking) • 125 SK (Sinking)
Suggested retail is $14.99.
